FAQS

Questions about what it’s like to work together?

Here are some of the most common questions I get from clients about therapy. If you don’t see your question answered below, please feel free to contact me.

  • I charge $200 per 50 minute session. I do not charge extra for couples/family sessions.

I offer a limited number of sliding scale sessions through Open Path Collective

  • My office is located within the Boulder Healing Hub at 1650 38th St #100e, just off of Arapahoe Ave. and Foothills Pkwy.

  • I do not accept insurance in Colorado or Florida. If you have out of network benefits, I can provide you with a receipt and you may be able to get reimbursed by your insurance company. See the insurance reimbursement estimator at the bottom of this page to learn more!

    Why?

    1. I believe you and I, as therapist and client, should be making decisions together about your treatment rather than your insurance company. Insurance usually dictates how often you have therapy, how long sessions can be, and how many sessions you get per year.

    2. Insurance companies require a medical diagnosis. Not everyone that comes to therapy meets criteria for a diagnosis, and that’s ok! You still deserve to get the help you want.

    3. The rates that insurance companies pay providers is extremely low. In order to simply keep the lights on, I would have to work twice as many hours per week, which means I would be burnt out. Also, and maybe even more importantly, seeing too many clients in a day fries my brain. I believe you deserve the best quality care and my full attention.

  • I see clients in person on Wednesdays at the Boulder Healing Hub at 1650 38th St #100e in Boulder, CO. I see clients via telehealth on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays.

  • Yes you can! After our initial session, you will have access to the client portal, through which you can see all of my availability (in office and virtual) and schedule as many sessions as you’d like up to two months in advance.

  • This is a great question but also one that is tough to answer because everyone is so different. I'd love to say it takes "x" number of sessions or a specific amount of time, but it really depends on the individual and the issues you want to work on.
